Stop Stillbirth ASAP
ASAP's Founding Steering Team:
Following the International Stillbirth Alliance (ISA) International Conference on Stillbirth, SIDS, and Infant Survival in 2012 in Baltimore, MD (hosted by First Candle), we founded the Action for Stillbirth Awareness and Prevention (ASAP) Coalition. The conference was extremely inspiring and it became evident that we were at a unique juncture to put stillbirth on the map through massive collaboration efforts.
We determined that if organizations, bereaved parents, advocates, maternal health stakeholders, and health professionals were well informed of what each other was doing and were collaborating with each other, so much more could be accomplished.
We envision a space where ALL can come together through coordinated efforts and a unified voice.
